Immersive travel experiences
Get off the beaten path.
Find yourself in the company of locals.
Engage directly with the culture of a place.
Feel comfortable trying out those phrases you’ve been learning.
Actively participate in living traditions.
Learn skills that will last.
What is immersive travel?
While any travel broadens our horizons, often what we bring home are souvenirs, photographs and memories.
What if you could return home having learned something: perhaps made progress in that language you’ve been learning on an app; made meaningful connections; feel enriched by having been an engaged participant rather than just an observer?
From custom-built itineraries to facilitated trips and bespoke experiences, experience travel in an unforgettable way.

athena nomadica
A nomad never stops exploring. Carrying exactly what one needs, learning skills along the way, it is a way of moving lightly through the world.
Athena’s earliest memory is as a toddler exploring Mexico (with her parents), stubbornly climbing the steps of a temple. Since then, she went on to spend her early years in the USA and Ireland, teenage years in Italy and Portugal, university years in England and Italy, and adult years in France, Germany, and Portugal, as well as a six-month voyage stuck on a hundred-year old sailing ship during the global pandemic during which she sailed across the Atlantic twice.
Athena has travelled to over thirty countries and picked up four and a half new languages along the way, all through immersive experiences.
